The verdict in the bubble
A discreet bubble sits over Uber or Bolt. The offer appears, you tap, the verdict lands: worth it, borderline, or decline.

BeSmartDriver reads the Uber or Bolt offer on your screen and tells you, in under two seconds, whether the ride covers your cost per kilometre. Before you accept.

Fuel, insurance, maintenance, commission: your kilometre has a cost. Every ride below it, you are paying to drive — and the screen will never tell you at the moment you accept.

The instruments
A discreet bubble sits over Uber or Bolt. The offer appears, you tap, the verdict lands: worth it, borderline, or decline.
fuel + insurance + maintenance ÷ km/year
You set your cost per kilometre once. Every verdict is computed against YOUR figures, not a national average.
Every scanned ride is logged: time, fare, verdict. Your day reads like a statement, not a memory.
capture → on-device OCR → verdict
data sent: 0 bytes
The capture is read on the device and destroyed at once. Only fare, distance and verdict are kept. Zero network in the calculation.
Procedure
Fuel, insurance, maintenance: the app helps you land your real €/km. Two minutes, once.
It sits over Uber or Bolt and touches nothing until you ask it to.
Capture, read, compute: the verdict shows in the bubble in under two seconds. The call stays yours.
Availability
The application is running in closed testing. It is not published on the Play Store yet — sign up and you will get one email the day it opens. One, and nothing else until then.

Questions
A ride is profitable when its revenue per kilometre exceeds your cost per kilometre plus your own pay. Divide the offered fare by the ride distance: if the result falls below your threshold in €/km, you lose money by accepting. BeSmartDriver runs that calculation in under two seconds on the offer displayed.
A private-hire driver's cost per kilometre usually sits between €0.55 and €0.60 per kilometre driven. It covers fuel, insurance, maintenance, tyres and vehicle depreciation — but not your own pay, and not the unbilled kilometres spent reaching the passenger. That is why your target selling price is far above your cost.
Because those are two different figures. €0.60/km is the cost of running: the point where you stop losing money, without paying yourself. Your target price must also cover your pay, the approach and empty-return kilometres, waiting time and social contributions. Spread over billed kilometres only, those items easily double the figure.
No, and that is not a scheduling choice. BeSmartDriver needs to draw a bubble over the Uber or Bolt app and read the screen. iOS forbids that system-overlay mechanism — confirmed by Apple's developer technical support. The app is therefore Android only.
No. The capture is analysed on the device by local text recognition, then destroyed immediately. Neither the image nor the raw text is kept: only fare, distance and verdict stay in your history. No network call happens during the calculation.
